The name equinox is derived from the Latin aeques (equal) and nox (night) because around the equinox, the day and night are approx. equal. At an equinox, the sun is at one of two opposite points on the celestial spephere where the celestial equator and the elliptical intersect. These points are called equinox. On earth, the equinox happens each year at two specific movement in time, while for Saturn, it is once in 15 years as Saturn orbital period is 30 Earth Years long.
